Atheist

I was raised nominally and generically Christian. I became involved with a Fundamentalist Church in grade school. As a young teen I began doubting the stories of gods and hells I had been fed.

I didn’t know who to talk to or what to read about Atheism (the internet as we know it didn’t exist yet) and so it took a number of years for me to become comfortable as an Atheist and then come out as one.

I love that I and so many others are able to be involved in a vibrant and growing Atheist community. I want to see this community survive, thrive and grow. Everyone who lives openly as a gods-free person helps. You can help.
